Painfull injections
Hi I don't know about you but don't you find that injections really hurt. i just did my injection and the pain was horrible. also i can sometimes predict whether or not before the injection as to whether or not it will hurt. sometimes the pain is that bad that i cry, i'm quite sensitive that it hurts that much. does anyone else experience these feelings?

when i was first diagnosed, i remember initially my mom or dad would stick me in the buttox! after that i started doing it myself generally in the thigh. i tried it in the stomach of course, where people say insulin is the most well absorbed, but the very first time i did it, my stomach turned completely blue. from then i was terified of doing it in my stomach, and have been doing in my thigh for 17 years. just last month i started doing it in my stomach, and realized it actually hurts the least. that is just me though.
I also agree that needles hurt less in your stomach, but i have never heard of your stomach turning blue. personally i do not like doing my needle in my bum, i prefer in my stomach or thighs.
